Biltmore Engagement Session
Oh, Biltmore Engagement sessions… you steal my sunshiney heart every. single. stinking. time. 3 of the 4 times that I’ve shot Biltmore Engagement sessions it has been the most beautiful perfect weather. Is this another reason why everyone loves Asheville so much? Because it has perfect weather…like all the time? Katelyn & Gooch chose to have their engagement pictures taken at Biltmore, and boy am I glad they did. Some tips if you also want to have Biltmore Engagement pictures taken…go during the week, preferably a Tuesday or Wednesday. We left Knoxville at 2:30 and arrived at Biltmore around 5. By 6:30 the front of the mansion was tourist free, bus free, and had the most amazing glow happening just over the hill. I wonder if the first Vanderbilt purposely built the mansion with it’s back to sunset because he knew photographers everywhere would need that to happen for the most epic pictures ever?!?!?! yeah… probably not… but I’ll still take it. After you schedule them for an evening during the week, call Katelyn and Gooch for some pointers on how to pose candidly because they pretty much killed it. I always love it when my couples are giggly and smiley and get a little goofy because the full, all-out laughter are ALWAYS some of my favorite shots.
