Baxter Gardens Family Session
Gosh… this family. I just love them to pieces. I met them at Baxter Gardens this past weekend to do some Baxter Gardens Family pictures for them. If you don’t remember, I photographed Abby’s newborn photos 6 months ago!! (WHAT?!? How has it been 6 months already??) And at the time, Ava was happily welcoming her role as a big sister. Something that she eagerly awaited for the entire 40 weeks Lori was pregnant. We had hired Joe (with Capitol Remodeling) to do some contractor work on the house that we were flipping at the time, and he would tell us stories about how ready Ava was and how much she talked about wanting to be a big sister. So, at the newborn photos it didn’t surprise me when she was all about baby Abby. Seriously, she was SUCH an amazing big sister. But like most new things, I figured the new would wear off, and she would grow more accustomed to the role and just not enjoy it as much. But boy was I wrong. The second we arrived for their Baxter Gardens family session, Ava was still owning her title of big sis. Anytime I had her and Abby in a picture together, I would literally watch her face light up as she held her little sister. It just confirmed even more that Grayson will eventually need a sibling. Don’t be fooled though, Abby loved Ava just as much as Ava loved Abby. Any time it was just Abby in the photo, she would just stare and stare and stare at Ava as Ava did silly things to make her smile. I have a feeling these girls are going to be the best of friends and you know that only happens when they have some pretty awesome parents teaching them how to love one another!
