Baxter Gardens Engagement
I learned something about Lindsay and Kendrick at their engagement session that I love. They are both hilarious. The entire session at Baxter Gardens, they had each other laughing, had me laughing, and it felt more like I was hanging out with friends than taking engagement photos. Typically, I do a combination of different poses. I’ll do some static posing, some fluid posing, and some prompts. The prompts are designed to make people laugh. I’ll have them whisper funny things in each other’s ears or walk like their drunk or close their eyes and find each other’s lips to kiss. And they work! You guys have seen it. For Lindsay & Kendrick, however, I didn’t really have to do any of these. Once I got Kendrick nuzzling into Lindsay’s ear, he would just say something funny every time to get her to laugh, and they would burst into big smiles. It was literally perfect.
I am so thankful for the gorgeous weather we had for Lindsay and Kendrick’s Baxter Gardens engagement session. There was zero humidity, all the sunshine, and the blooms. Oh, the blooms. We talked about all the friends traveling in for their wedding, and how awesome their dance floor is going to be. After spending just a couple hours with them, I KNOW this is going to be true. If their friends are half as fun as they are, we are in for one AWESOME party.
