An Associate Fall Wedding at Marblegate Farm

Ashley and Jordan’s fall associate wedding at Marblegate Farm was gorgeous. Marblegate is one of those venues where you really don’t have to do much because it’s already gorgeous in and of itself. Couple that with one stunning couple and bridal party and wow. Alaina René associate shot this wedding for me, and she absolutely killed it. When this couple booked, they booked my associate package, but since they were getting married on a Friday in October, I thought I would just shoot it myself so my associates could have a Friday off. It is, by far, our busiest month of the year. As we started approaching the day, however, I found my body getting mad at me after shooting doubleheaders in the third trimester. The day following a wedding, I have massive amounts of swelling, Braxton Hicks contractions, and pure exhaustion. Since I had a wedding the day after Ashley and Jordan’s, I decided that serving both couples really well meant I needed my associate to shoot Ashley and Jordan’s day after all. In steps Alaina. Girlfriend rocks. She loved on Ashley and Jordan just like I would have and served them amazingly! When I started sorting through the images on Sunday, I was so so so so pleased with what Alaina and Hayley (her second shooter) had captured.

For me, one of the sweetest moments of the day was right after the ceremony. The couple came back down the aisle followed by their bridal party and their parents. As each new person joined them, they hugged and celebrated, and there’s one shot of Jordan hugging his dad that will for sure bring a sweet tear to your eye. They pulled apart, Jordan’s dad wiped the tears off his face, and it was precious. I wasn’t even physically present, but the emotion was palpable.

Thank you to Ashley and Jordan for having the AMP team document your special day. It was gorgeous and so precious and so sweet, and I couldn’t ask for a better couple to have worked with over the last several months!
