Shauna and Josh’s wedding at Relix Variety Theater was shot by one of my associate photographers, Leah Nicole Photo. Guys…Leah has been KILLING it lately. She is slammed because she is so good. Somehow, someway, she also finds time to shoot some AMP clients for me when I’m already booked, and I am forever grateful to her! I don’t know if you remember, but when I announced I was offering associate photographers, I did so because of the broader impact God could use AMP for. I am fully aware that every single couple He has me working with is for a reason. Likewise, every single couple He has me not working with is also for a reason. At some point on the other side of the wedding day, I’ll get to that reason, see it come full circle, and I love those moments. But…I am only one person. When I book a couple, it takes away from me serving anyone else. The topic of associate photographers came up one day amongst Leah Nicole, Brittany Sidwell, and me, and it just dawned on me. I’m limiting the reach God is using AMP for by not offering associate photographers. So, I decided to start offering them, but it’s not easy, you guys. First of all, I need someone who has the same willingness to be used by Jesus as I do. Afterall, that is the point of me using them in the first place. On the technical side, I also need them to have a similar style so I’m not marketing my photos to couples, and then, delivering something else. I need them to have a big heart and care about my couples and their experience on their wedding day. I need them to be open to supporting another photographer in their same community. And one really important thing to protect AMP, I need them to be loyal and respectful of my brand and my company. That is a LOT of things to find in one person. But somehow, someway, I hit the jackpot of friends and found two amazing girls I am just so so thankful for.
And now that the tangent of the century is over, I want to introduce you to Shauna and Joshua. They got married at Relix Variety Theater in the happy holler area, and it was beautiful. They hired the AMP team for two hours to capture the most critical moments of the day…the ceremony, family, bridal party, and bride and groom portraits. I’m so thankful they trusted us with this incredible moment.
