Okay. I met Maggie for the first time while she was a bridesmaid in another wedding I was shooting. It was the morning of the wedding when Maggie came up to me and said, “So, Lindsay told me that you were a CPA??” A huge smile grew on my face, and I nodded my head with that raised eyebrow expression like, “I know, crazy right?!” She proceeded to tell me how she was currently studying for the CPA, working full time, and planning a wedding. We instantly bonded. That was exactly where I was 6 years ago and it. is. hard. I laughed over the craziness of it all, and at the end of the night, she told me she would be emailing me about shooting her wedding. I honestly had no idea when that conversation started that I might be a candidate to shoot her wedding, but when I found out she wanted me and I had her date open, I was ecstatic. Maggie and Matt’s friend group is the same friend group I talked about in Lindsay & Kendrick‘s post, and I just love these people. They are genuinely some of the best, and getting to do another wedding where they all are makes me so so happy.
We took Maggie and Matt’s Apple Barn engagement session pictures the day before I left for Maine. It had GORGEOUS lighting, beautiful fall colors, and the sweet sweet love between them. They were laughing the whole time and were honestly the best sports as I coached them through every pose. We ended by getting their feet in the freezing cold water, and it was so worth it…but don’t take my word for it…see for yourself!
