Anniversary Session || Pigeon Forge || Stinnett’s

I am just so excited to share this sweet couple’s anniversary session. It was just last year that I had the privilege of shooting their wedding on Lee University’s campus. You can see that post here! After a VERY quick year, they decided to celebrate by renting a little cabin in Pigeon Forge just before Christmas and it was so much fun doing a more lifestyle like session with them all cuddled up in the mountains. Anniversary sessions are SO much fun for me. Getting a couple in front of my camera after they’ve been married a year changes so much. Not that they weren’t comfortable together before the wedding, but there’s a whole other kind of comfort that evolves once you’ve been married. There’s also different kinds of poses that I feel like I can do once couples are married. It would be far more awkward for me to have an engaged couple wrestling around on the bed or face to face cuddled on the couch, but it makes total sense for the marrieds out there.

When I met Erin the very first time it was to document Marshall proposing to her (which you can see here). The next time I saw her was at their engagement session here! She said I’m so excited to have you document all the major times in our life and at that point it just meant their wedding coming up. But you have no idea what it means to me when someone says that. It is complete and absolute humbleness and honor when I get to document a family multiple times throughout their years. I LOVE watching them grow and transform and even more so, I love growing a relationship and friendship with them.

I can honestly say that these two are more friends than clients. I just love everything about them and I love how they love each other. That’s a lot of love for one sentence, but there’s really no other way to explain it!
