Adoption
I am anti-abortion. Therefore, I am very pro adoption. There are very few things we can do in life that leaves a legacy like having children. That legacy completely changes for the better when we, as parents, choose to help another parent by giving their baby a happier chance at life. I see such a beautiful analogy here of how we are the children of God. Jesus is the only biological (if you will) child of God. We are all adopted by the Creator and loved unconditionally. When the Bible commands us to strive to be more like God… this is one direct way we can do so. I’ve always had a heart for adoption, but after being there with this family, seeing the whole process and hearing about their experience, it has deepened that desire so much. I am so thankful that Ryan and Jessica let me be a part of this gorgeous time in their lives. I could not be happier for them or little Charlie-girl. I pray that God continues to use them in such beautiful ways to be the hands and feet of Christ.
