There are some wedding days where you can immediately tell the couple is simply thrilled to be married. Mary Kate and Eric’s day was exactly that kind of celebration. Their day was filled with nonstop joy, meaningful moments, and one of the most energetic dance floors. This beautiful Jackson Terminal Associate Wedding was photographed by AC Goodman and Cyd Weeks, and every image feels just as lively and heartfelt as the day itself.
One of the sweetest parts of the entire wedding day was watching Mary Kate during their first look. You could tell she truly could not wait one more minute to see Eric. The second they were together, it felt like the nerves disappeared and they were simply excited to spend the rest of the day side by side. Their connection was effortless, comfortable, and so full of excitement.
During the ceremony, one of the most meaningful moments happened when they took communion and prayed together privately. In the middle of such a joy-filled and energetic day, it created this quiet pause that felt deeply intentional and personal. It was such a beautiful reflection of their faith that is clearly so important to both of them.
Their relationship actually began through Young Life, and that theme of faith and community carried throughout the entire wedding day. During his speech, Mary Kate’s dad shared how much she had impacted their family through her involvement in Young Life and how she helped deepen their faith along the way. And truly, it was one of those speeches that had everyone fully locked in from beginning to end — emotional, funny, meaningful, and incredibly well spoken.
Now we absolutely have to talk about the popcorn.
Apparently Mary Kate has eaten popcorn almost every single night since she was little, so while they were dating, Eric bought a popcorn machine specifically to impress her. Honestly, that might be one of the most iconic love languages ever. Naturally, they had a popcorn stand at the reception, and yes, Mary Kate was out on the dance floor eating popcorn throughout the night. At one point, she even requested a photo of her pouring popcorn over both her and Eric’s heads while dancing, and it perfectly sums up their personalities together: fun, carefree, playful, and completely themselves.
And speaking of the dance floor, it was POPPIN (pun intended). Truly. Their DJ kept the energy high all night long and even passed around the microphone for impromptu karaoke moments throughout the reception. Guests packed the dance floor from start to finish, and Mary Kate and Eric barely left it the entire evening. Every corner of the reception felt full of laughter, movement, and celebration.
This Jackson Terminal Associate Wedding was the perfect blend of meaningful moments and full-out fun, and AC Goodman and Cyd Weeks captured every bit of it beautifully.
