Castleton Estate Engagement || Rebekah & David

Elegant Engagement Photos at Castleton Estate

This Castleton Estate engagement session already felt romantic before the photos even begin just because the property is so beautiful. The sweeping views and elegant architecture create the perfect backdrop for couples wanting their engagement photos to feel timeless. But I have to say, Rebekah and David could have made any location feel magical.

From the moment we started, it was obvious how much fun these two have with each other. They’re the kind of couple that naturally falls into step together. Laughing constantly, teasing each other in the sweetest ways, and somehow making every moment feel effortless. One of my favorite parts of engagement sessions is getting the chance to slow down and really get to know my couples before the wedding day, and spending the evening with Rebekah and David only made me even more excited for their wedding.

Now, we need to talk about the ring.

I genuinely cannot wait for you guys to see Rebekah’s engagement ring because when she handed it to me for detail photos, my jaw literally dropped. I immediately looked at David and said, “I’ve never seen anything like this before.” Without missing a beat, he smiled and said, “That’s because I designed it.”

It makes perfect sense.

Over the years, I’ve photographed a lot of custom rings. Most custom designs are usually inspired by a combination of existing styles or trending settings blended together. But this ring was completely different. It felt entirely original and so intentionally designed for Rebekah specifically. David absolutely knocked it out of the park.

What makes me even more excited is knowing this is only the beginning. I already know that once her wedding band is paired with it during bridal detail photos and add in David’s band, too, the full set is going to be stunning.

Beyond the ring, though, what stood out most about this session was simply who Rebekah and David are together. They are joyful, easy to be around, and completely present with each other. Their excitement for marriage is contagious, and getting to hear more about their wedding plans while exploring Castleton Estate made me even more confident that their wedding day is going to be something truly special.
