Two back to back sessions last week. Both of sweet baby girls, and both at UT Gardens. Yesterday’s post was a UT Gardens 1 year old session, and today’s post is a UT Gardens 6 month old session. One named Camila, and one named Mila. Both so stinking cute, and both so so tiny! My husband is 6’3″, and I am 5’8″ so we don’t know what it’s like to have a tiny baby. Evelyn has always been skinny, but so long and lanky. Hazel is our smallest and is still in the 70% for height and weight. Our babies are just big and will likely grow into tall adults. When I held Mila, it felt like I was holding my baby at birth 😂 There’s a little bit of an exaggeration there but not much 😂 No matter how small she is, however, I know she’s going to be mighty just like her mama.
Mila’s mom is in her 4th year of medical school. She had Mila during her 3rd year of med school, and in this next season of becoming a doctor, she will travel all over the country for interviews. Mila’s dad, David, is also praise-worthy because while his wife goes through MEDICAL SCHOOL and travels for all these interviews, he is holding down the fort as daddy, employee, chauffeur, son, friend, cleaner, chef, and all the other things. That’s a big deal. I imagine that when Noel is done with medical school and starts her residency, their life is going to look so different. Even though I know residency is going to require a lot of hours, I would imagine it’s going to feel like a breeze compared to having a baby, balancing school, and doing rotations all at the same time. Seriously impressed with the Boone family and am so excited I’ve been able to watch little Mila grow over these last several months!
