This little family is just precious. At the beginning of our session, I learned just how adventurous little Owen is. He was so not into being held, and as soon as you put him down, he took off. Usually, I can still distract them with something fun while they are held for me to get some great smiling at the camera photos, but Owen is just an explorer to his core. Until. Mommy started singing “The Wheels on the Bus.” Then, all of a sudden he started smiling SO big, doing all the hand gestures, and was in heaven. We moved on to “If You’re Happy and You Know It,” “Old McDonald,” and ” The Itsy Bitsy Spider,” and this kid loved it all. A long time ago, I heard someone say babies and toddlers who love music are proven to be more intelligent as adults. If that is still true, Owen is going to be a genius. He is almost 18 months old and knew ALL of the songs with ALL of the hand gestures. Very impressive.
When we sat him down in between the songs, off he ran with Ben chasing after. Thank heavens it was a little chilly outside. Otherwise, Ben would have been sweating because he was constantly running after his little adventurer. Until we got to the leaves (which you’ll see below), and he was totally satisfied playing right where he was for hours. All the leaves on his head…falling in the leaves…walking in the leaves…you name it, and he loved it.
So thankful this family chose me for their Knox Botanical fall family session this year. Linsey is a friend of one of my brides, whom I love, and I am so excited it worked out so nicely.
