I’m not gonna lie I’m a sucker for a good local coffee shop as much as your hipster neighbor. K-Brew is one of the bigger ones close to my house, and it is my preferred choice when I have time to sit at a coffee shop to work. When Laura Beth and Trevor told me they wanted a K-Brew engagement session, I knew we were destined to be friends. To top it all off, they also drink their coffee black. Us black coffee drinkers have to stick together or the sugary people of the world will take over, and it will not. be. good. 😂
These two live in North Carolina so they had to do their engagement session on a Friday-Sunday. Because of the craziness of my schedule, the only day we both had to overlap was a Friday morning at sunrise, which we strategically chose to be right after the time change when sunrise is at 8am instead of 7am 😁It worked well with the whole coffee house vibe, and since it was super duper cloudy that day, we took our time as we finished up with their K-Brew engagement and followed it up by wandering around Old North for a bit.
I have to give a big shout out to K-Brew for being totally awesome about letting us take photos there. They were so fast to respond to emails, so nice to welcome us, and when we arrived, there were no questions asked. We were as discrete as possible inside and took a few outside before we drove to our next spot. They did not have to let us shoot there so I just want to make sure they get recognition for being more than just a coffee shop. They are kind humans, too!
