Sampson’s Hollow Elopement

Caleigh and James had a small Sampson’s Hollow wedding on May 23rd. They were the 4th of 6 weddings I had in 10 days, and it was the perfect middle wedding for two reasons. 1) They decided on a smaller wedding where it would just be four guests, their ADORABLE kiddos, and them. The intimacy of their wedding was beautiful. It was a way slower pace, and we had ample time to go to all of my favorite spots at Sampson’s Hollow. 2) Their “reception” consisted of a super cute cake cut and first dance. Both events started with just the two of them and ended with them and their sweet babies. The very last shot in this blog post and one of the last ones for the day is of Caleigh and James doing their first dance and their little girl and boy dancing together looking at each other with the biggest grins. It is one of my favorite shots of the day. Not because it was perfect. Not because it had great lighting or colors. Because it was so authentically emotional and showed the love between this sweet little family.

I’m so happy for Caleigh and James to join the married club and become bonus parents to each other’s kids. I am certain that Harper (Caleigh’s daughter) is just as excited to have a big brother as Keagan (James’s son) is to have a little sister. They were already having the typical brother sister teasing and laughing together, and I just adore both of them so much! I have a vision of what my life is going to look like with Grayson and Hazel in about 5 years :-).

So happy to be sharing this sweet, small Sampson’s Hollow Wedding with you this evening! Congrats to the Fielder family!
