UT Gardens Gender Reveal
Oooooh ma-gosh, ya’ll. This was the first gender reveal that I have ever shot, and it’s probably not what you think it will be. There was no confetti cannon, blue or pink sports ball to explode, or balloons to release. This gender reveal was between mom and dad and me. It was the pre-show to their confetti cannon they did with their whole family the following weekend. It was intimate, and it was so so sweet. Doing this for the Demos family made me want this to happen for us with our next pregnancy. Seriously though, I don’t know how they waited from the time of their appointment to the time of our session. Even just leaving the hospital I don’t think I would have been able to contain myself.
As you scroll, the first round of photos are Maitland and Justin opening the envelope together to find out the gender of their sweet baby. I was literally gushing behind my camera. It was just the sweetest. Because I loved this so much, I am going to start offering these sessions as part of my baby’s first year package. I actually want to start promoting them even separately as a stand alone session. Every single parent deserves to have this moment. The moment that only the two of you know exactly how you feel, and you literally turn to one another and just melt in each other’s arms. All the dreaming of this sweet babe growing in momma’s tummy becomes so much more real when you envision their tiny little face with a name and their own clothes and a nursery. I want this moment for all you future parents out there, and when you get to it, let me be there. I will partake in every single ounce of your joy with you.
