I am so so so thankful for this family for so many reasons. First and foremost, Jason is the pastor at the church Dustin and I attend. When we lived in Nashville, we went to Crosspoint. It was a GIGANTIC church that planted other churches all the time. About a year before we even knew that we would be moving to Knoxville, we had a guest pastor preach and talk about a church he was planting in Knoxville. Fast forward to our move, our hunt for a new home church, and we vaguely remembered that Sunday. So vaguely, in fact, that we thought it was our pastor and our church that was planting this church in Knoxville. So, we searched it out, attended one Sunday, and instantly knew that’s where we should be. 30 minutes from our home, completely across Knoxville, but that’s where we were being called. When we left that very first Sunday, we both hopped in the car and said to one another, that church is full of doers. What I mean by that is that it is full of Christians who believe, say they believe, and ACT like they believe in Jesus. I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever attended a church that are TRULY the hands and feet of Christ more than Shoreline. I could give you example after example after example of missionaries, foster families, meal takers, and so. many. more. We love our church. The second reason is Carrie actually assisted another photographer in taking newborn photos of Grayson! She was so sweet and so kind and thoughtful and gentle. Every time I saw her at church after that she would always stop to notice how Grayson had grown since his newborn photos, and how cute he was. So, we’re basically friends for life ha! Also how I feel about my midwife and nurse from the hospital. Something about relationships that form over the birth of your child, they are rooted deep instantly. And now this. I’ve gotten to serve this family by taking their photos at their family home in West Knoxville. It was such an honor to be invited to their house and play with their boys in the back yard with the most beautiful sunlight beaming down. I thought their family home back yard was gorgeous at first glance and shot the first half of their photos there. Then, I turned around and saw their side yard and wow…that light created some of my most favorite family photos to date! I hope you have fun scrolling through these big ole’ smiles. These boys are some of the cutest, sweetest little blondies out there.
