Baby Norah was due on June 2nd but ended up coming a few weeks early. She had a head full of thick brown hair and is absolutely beautiful. I joined the Sandy family at their house in South Knoxville. As I drove through a part of town I am not that familiar with, I found myself falling in love with the super cute, quaint little neighborhood with old houses kept in gorgeous conditions, perfectly manicured yards, and enormous trees casting perfect sunlight everywhere. Knoxville is not that large of a city…trust me, I know that…but I’m still finding little spots that I’ve never seen before that I just love so much. I don’t know how the Lord led Dustin’s and my path back here, but I sure am grateful He did. Anywho, it has been an absolute pleasure expanding my Knoxville newborn photography. As many of you know, I am primarily a wedding photographer. I love weddings, but after the wedding is over, my couples, who I have become dear friends with, buy houses, get dogs, and eventually get pregnant. When they come back to me for portraits, I want to be able to capture that for them, even newborn sessions. Which is a completely different genre of photography, and although I did not get to photograph Lauren and Brandon’s wedding, it was still an absolute pleasure to get to preserve that very teensy tiny newborn in that teensy tiny newborn window that they are in. No matter how much I promote myself as a Knoxville wedding photographer, I will always be there for my couples to document them as a Knoxville newborn photographer.
