So there’s this new wedding venue in Knoxville called The Quarry. It’s a little over a year old since it officially launched as a Knoxville wedding venue and it’s very exclusive. By exclusive, I mean they treat their brides REALLY awesome and don’t let just anyone use the property. This means that their couples are going to have one-of-a-kind images because not everyone and their momma are coming out there to shoot. I respect this. And until I booked Cassie & Stu’s wedding on Cinco de Mayo, it was one of my main 2018 goals to get to shoot there. I was obsessed with every single image they shared through social media. Everything about this place was calling my photographer heart. Not only did Cassie & Stu choose The Quarry for their Knoxville wedding venue, but they also chose it as their engagement session location. And I’m so so glad because not only did I get acquainted with pieces of the 60 acres, but I also got to meet Lindsey & Morgan! These girls are so so great at what they do. I want to give you a little glimpse into the experience they give their couples. They started off by personally chauffeuring us around spot to spot, telling us good places where other photographers have shot. Then as I was posing Cassie & Stu they suggested poses and helped make sure they’re clothing and jewelry were falling the right way. They moved anything and everything we needed moved before I even had to ask them. They also came prepped with lighting to do cool affects inside the cave and flung Cassie’s dress up to have the affect of wind blowing it. They were so sweet and so personable and I now understand why they only let their wedding couples use their property. It would be nearly impossible to host people around all the time for portrait sessions, especially when you have a space that AWESOME, everyone would be wanting to shoot at it! So here’s to one big goal coming true. Thanks Cassie & Stu for entrusting your day with me… you guys are AWESOME!
