Goodness. This family. I just love them to death. We met yesterday morning bright and early at Concord Park to take maternity pictures slash family pictures with beautiful sunrise light. The good part, is that there was sunshine present after we week of rainy cloudiness, the bad part was that it was pretty cold and sweet big sister, Lilly, is not super fond of being cold. But even with the discomfort, she shined just as she always does. Her precious little smile is enough to warm anyone, even in the frigid morning air!
On a side note, I live in fountain city and am much more likely to enjoy our parks and such around here. So I’m not super familiar with West Knoxville parks, but Concord Park is awesome! I’m in love with the perfectly dispersed trees that were evergreen so they were even green in the winter. You have the option of having grassiness or water in the background of your pictures, bright sunshine or total shade for your session, and open spaces or wooded trails for a variety of looks. It worked out so well because it is right beside where I attend church and I was volunteering to take pictures during service yesterday. So whether you’re having family pictures done or just wanting to go have a picnic, you should check out Concord Park… you won’t regret it!
