I have had the absolute joy of knowing Brittany since elementary school. And I’ve had even more joy seeing her become a momma and fall in love over the last few years. I photographed her sister’s wedding in Nashville, TN right when Conner (her’s and Josh’s son) was born. Soon after that, Brittany and Josh hired me to take quarterly pictures of sweet Conner. 3 months… 6 months… 9 months… 1 year and now he’s 2 years old! When it came time to book their wedding photographer, they said Amanda – we HAVE to have you… there is no one else. and literally my heart skipped a beat. I LOVE this family. I felt the EXACT same way about having to shoot their wedding. It is SUCH an honor and is SO humbling when a couple says something like this.

My favorite part about this wedding is undoubtedly the first look. Josh’s face when he saw his Brittany for the first time was priceless. And it was sprinkling. And it was perfect. You will see for yourself as you scroll through… It still gets me all worked up every time I look through it. The other fun and favorite part was doing some romantic portraits of the two of them after the exit. Brittany was worried about the sparklers not showing up, but I told her that it really worked out for the best because we had a short little sunset mini session with her, Josh and Conner in the HUGE field right beside the church. Conner was all hyped up on sugar and was just getting to be a wild boy while mom and dad chased him around, tickled him, through him up in the air, and had fun. It was literally the most perfect way to close out their wedding day.
