The Bridge Building is seated downtown in the parking lot of Nissan Stadium just at the foot of the walking bridge. It has a totally modern look, an amazing skyline view of downtown Nashville, plenty of parking for however many guests you want to invite, and an amazing variety of portrait locations right close within walking distance. Although I have not gotten to photograph a wedding here yet, I have taken lots of engagement photos and it is one of my favorite spots in Nashville to do so!
We took these photos the week before last when it was literally SCORCHING outside. My iWatch read 98 degrees and like 40% humidity. The sun was shining bright making it even hotter and there was little to no breeze, even right beside the river. The second thing that Maria said to me after she got out of her car was… yeah… at least Clark doesn’t sweat! Want to know what the first thing was?? I bet you can guess it, it went something like: oh my gooooosh, it’s so hot out here, I hope you can’t see me sweating in these pictures! So I’m going to go ahead and say, they are sweat free in these pictures and I’d like to give a shout out to Maria’s makeup artist Natalie Garza… she killed it. For the record, on our way back to the car after all pictures were finished, Clark took his sport coat off and he does sweat, but apparently just on his chest and back. He was such a trooper for wearing the sport coat during the second half of our photos. It looked so good, but I know he was literally melting.
