Sampsons Hollow is one of my favorite Smoky Mountain venues. It’s located on the Townsend side of the mountains and is tucked away at the base of some rolling hills. They have multiple ceremony sites… the one used below is Sarah’s Glen, which is nestled back into the woods with towering trees all around. But there’s also a pavilion with a gorgeous chandelier and another spot with a little wooden bridge surrounded by wildflowers. All three of those locations are outside, but Sampsons Hollow also offers an outdoor covered area in case it rains! Needless to say, there are plenty of options for every single bride to choose from! And the people. The family running this venue is one of my favs! Every single one of them are so incredibly sweet and genuinely care for every couple that has their wedding at Sampsons Hollow. I can’t say enough good things about the people.
Shawn and Ernie had a celebration and they were completely surrounded by the people who love them most. The whole crew drove down from Ohio to spend the weekend with the couple at Sampsons Hollow. It was an absolute pleasure getting to document these smiles and these hugs. I’m so incredibly thankful that I was able to be there with them as they committed their lives to one another. There is something so beautiful about having a wedding ceremony surrounded by mountains and trees and all of God’s beautiful creation. I just love it.
