Sarah and Aren are dear friends of mine from the Ernst & Young days. They typically have their annual family session in the fall but this year, they showed so much grace and flexibility with me having a little, and decided to move it up to now since I was already coming to Nashville. In my other blog posts about them I tell you how wonderful they are. What sweet and kind hearts they have. And in efforts to not repeat myself, in this one I want to just give you an example to prove to you what incredible people they are. For years now… literally years, Sarah and Aren have had their annual family pictures taken in the fall. They love the fall… the dogs do better in the cooler weather… Nashville is just flat out gorgeous in the fall. But this year, her sister needed maternity/family/2 year old pictures done before her second baby comes in July. So we scheduled them in June. Knowing how hard it is for me to make Nashville trips while I’m breastfeeding Grayson, they offered to move their family session up so that it would save me a 6 hour drive in the middle of my CRAZY fall wedding schedule and breastfeeding little Gray. So yay for that. But THEN on top of it, they volunteered to wake up at the [butt] crack of dawn (haha always loved that phrase) on a Saturday so that I could photograph them, her sister’s family, and a third family in the morning light then get back to Knoxville by early afternoon to feed! aaaaaaand they let me stay with them! And it’s not just the act of letting me sleep in their house, but the fact that I couldn’t get there until 10pm (because again… I was feeding Grayson – theme of my life right now lol) and was making them wake up at 5am. Do you see what I mean here? They are so happy to help others and I am just so thankful! Love these two and their cute pups!
