4 Months
You always hear everyone say that when you have kids, time flies. In the blink of an eye they’re choosing colleges then getting married and before you know it, you’re a grandparent. But really… there is absolutely NO way to prepare yourself. Just like on wedding days, everyone will tell while you’re still planning that you’re day will pass so so so fast, but there’s no way for you to really understand just how fast until you’re in it. Well, this is how I feel about baby James turning 4 months. It seems like I was shooting his newborn pictures YESTERDAY! On that note, in the last 4 months, I really feel like big sister Macy has also grown at least 6 inches… okay okay, maybe 1 inch but it feels like 6 inches. And also, how in the world do babies develop so much personality so fast? I mean, if you really think about this, we spend the first couple years of our life growing and learning at like 50 times the rate that we do the rest of our lives. I’m not sure why God made it play out that way, but sometimes, I wish our littles would stay little for just a little longer. But if somehow we were able to make that happen, I would also love for them to sleep through the night like they were teenagers. please and thank you.
