A Winter Maker Exchange Engagement Session
When life gives you frigid Knoxville temperatures, you move the engagement session indoors. So, Kendahl and Clayton’s session at Maker Exchange in the Downtown Marriott was nothing short of perfect. This gorgeous indoor location offered not only great lighting but also a sleek and modern vibe, which made every shot shine. The last minute change ended up being a blessing in disguise because it allowed us to capture their love in such a warm and inviting space. Plus, we were away from the icy chill outside. Their Maker Exchange engagement truly turned into something special.
I have to say, it’s always a special honor to photograph a wedding coordinator, and Kendahl is one of my absolute favorites to work with from Castleton Farms. She has such an eye for detail and a calm, organized energy that makes every wedding day run smoothly. To have her choose me as her wedding photographer is a huge compliment. Getting to know her and Clayton as a couple has been a joy. Clayton is a college football coach and brings such a steady and strong presence to their dynamic. Together, they’re an absolutely beautiful pair inside and out.
Their Maker Exchange engagement was filled with laughter, sweet moments, and a sense of ease that made every shot feel natural. Kendahl and Clayton’s connection is undeniable, and I can’t wait to capture their big day and celebrate their love even more. Here’s to warmer weather on their wedding day. If this session taught us anything, however, it’s that they’ll shine no matter the setting!
