A Puppy Engagement at Castleton Farm
This puppy engagement session was so much fun. Savannah got this sweet little pup, Cash, a few years ago, and one of the things that made her fall in love with David was how much Cash loved him right away. So much so that I just assumed they got him together. I mean, check it out for yourself. Cash loves David just as much as he loves Savannah.
If you can somehow look past the puppy cuteness, these two are absolutely adorable together. I had a blast getting to know them better and learning more of their story. There was one thing that stood out to me so vividly during our time together. The first photo where I asked them to do a dip, Savannah glanced up and said, “Oh yeah, we need to practice our ceremony exit dip kiss.” This is not the first time this has happened since I wrote the dip kiss email newsletter/wedding planning 101 blog post. But when it does happen, it makes me realize that my couples do actually read my newsletters! So, I immediately responded with, “AH!! You read my newsletter!!” Savannah said, “Of course, I did. I read everything you send us!” It made my heart jump for joy. But then. What happened next. It’s what made me realize how perfect of a fit the AMP team is for Savannah. They did the practice walk into a dip kiss, and afterward, they asked, “How was that?” I said, “It was good, but if you want to make it even better, point her head a little more perpendicular to me. Honestly, that was good though! It looked great!” Then, Savannah immediately turned around and said, “Oh, good does’t work. We’ll make it great!” Sure enough, they did it again and nailed it perfectly. I realize perfection can never happen in a fallen and sinful world. But as for the experience the AMP team gives our couples, we want it to be as close to perfect as we can get it.
