A Nichols Heir Wedding at The Grand Hall

My very first wedding at Nichols Heir was at The Glass House. At that wedding, I drove down by The Grand Hall, but I didn’t actually go inside. I was already so impressed with it, but when I got the full tour at Taylor and Andrew’s wedding, I was BLOWN away. Now I see why I’ve heard people say they actually like The Grand Hall better than The Glass House. I don’t think I can choose a favorite between the two though. They are just both so very different, and I like them both equally!

Some of the biggest perks of The Grand Hall are:

  1. It is MASSIVE. Plenty of space for all sorts of guest counts.
  2. The spaces for the bride and groom to get ready are incredible.
  3. There are so many unique and beautiful portrait backdrops including some indoors for all those hot summer weddings.
  4. The family that owns Nichols Heir are gems. They are so thoughtful and considerate. They truly care and want their couples to have the best day of their lives at their venues.
  5. The lighting for the reception hall is gorgeous. So much natural light coming into the room. I didn’t have to turn on my flash until right before sunset!
  6. Phenomenal bathrooms. This sounds weird, but when you have a 200 person wedding, having nice and plentiful bathrooms makes a huge difference in your guests’ experience.
  7. Sleek, modern design and decor with the minimalist approach.
  8. A beautiful view.
  9. So much space…did I mention that? So much space. Which is unheard of for a mountain wedding venue.
  10. My personal favorite – how well it photographs.

Honestly, there are dozens more perks, and I could have this blog post going for dayssssss. So, if you’re interested in getting married at this venue + interested in hiring me as your photographer, first of all, please do, because I LOVE shooting here. Second of all, let’s chat, and I can share all the things with you about this beautiful place!
