The Most Hilarious Maple Grove Estate Wedding Ever

Ths bride, Brylee, is seriously one of the funniest people I think I’ve ever met. There were so many things that had me and everyone around me ROLLING at this Maple Grove Estate wedding. I’m just going to list some of the highlights here:

To kick off the formal portrait time, Brylee shared a first look with her dad. She wanted to do it on the pickleball court because her dad really loves pickleball. I always put the dad into place first, and he thought the joke was on her because he brought two paddles and a ball to play pickleball with her after he saw her. But when he turned around, Brylee gave him the gift of giving his credit card back to him. It was worn and peeling and all scratched up. He laughed for a second and then wiped away a couple tears. Her response was, “Are you crying at the thought of paying this thing off?” In the sweetest, most genuine way, he said, “No…just all the memories we’ve made.” It was so hilarious and so precious all at the same time. Then, he whipped out his paddles, and they literally played a round of pickleball before they went their separate ways. Thank goodness Maple Grove Estate has a pickleball court.
Fast forward to another part of the day, and Brylee iced the groomsmen. She had set up all 14 groomsmen for a first look with her. Under her big dress, she had 3 six packs of Smirnoff Ice hidden. The boys turned around and all cheered for her. Then, she reached down and pulled up her skirt, and they all started cracking up laughing as they came to get their Smirnoff and take a knee.
During the toasts, her bridesmaids made a comment about how good she looked. All the guests started clapping and cheering for her. She held her right hand up in the stopping motion and was saying, “Stop it…no, seriously, stop, guys,” but with her left hand, she was palm up and waving her fingers in and out in the “come here” motion and nodding her head up and down in the yes motion. I literally started laughing so hard. It’s a super hard moment to explain in words, but hopefully you get the premise.

These were three things that immediately came to me as really hilarious moments at this Maple Grove Estate wedding. But things like this were happening all day long. I did not stop laughing all day. Don’t get me wrong, the whole day wasn’t one big joke. She was also very emotional and really settled into the importance of the day and had overflowing joy from her. She wasn’t joking through serious moments, but in those in between moments, she just kept everyone laughing.
