To kick of Jennifer and Kyle’s wedding weekend, they had a bridal luncheon at Mere Bulles. Although I wasn’t there for that part of the day, I did go to the rehearsal dinner later that evening, and I heard multiple things about how wonderful it was. So, it must have been pretty great to have been the topic of conversation several different times throughout the rehearsal dinner. Later that evening, Kyle’s parents hosted everyone for their rehearsal dinner and after party at a restaurant in Downtown Nashville called City Tap. It’s not that City Tap is on the rooftop of the tallest building downtown, but they are positioned in a way that there are no other skyscrapers blocking their view of the Nashville skyline, and their rooftop view may be one of my all time favs. If you scroll through these first few photos from the rehearsal dinner, you’ll see the one I took at sunset of just the skyline. It was stunning. But all of that pales in comparison to how beautiful Jennifer and Kyle’s Fleming Center wedding was. While Jennifer was absolutely beautiful and Kyle very dapper and while they were surrounded with beautiful floral arrangements and a breathtaking cathedral…the thing that really made this wedding so gorgeous were the people. They were surrounded with people from all of the country, and those people were overflowing with their joy for Kyle and Jennifer. Their Fleming Center wedding would not have been the same without the exact crew there to support them. Kyle said it best when he and Jennifer gave a small speech because he said, “I know what it takes to attend someone’s wedding, especially out of town wedding, for the travel and the time off work and the funds to get there…” and then he paused and said in such a heartfelt way “…and Jennifer and I are just really thankful you are here.” It was so sincere, and everyone felt their gratitude in their bones.
I’m equally as thankful to Kyle and Jennifer for hiring me to photograph their Fleming Center wedding. It was beautiful and perfect and absolutely magical!
