6 Month Session at Knoxville Botanical Gardens
Ella is one of the few 6 month olds I have photographed in a long time that came to her session steadily sitting up. The girl is so strong and so smiley. A week before her session, Caroline (aka mama) texted me a picture of this nose scrunching smile she does and said, “I hope we can get one of these out of her.” Sure enough, we did. Just one, but we got it, and it is so precious. We had a beautiful day for a shoot at Knoxville Botanical Gardens, and I’m so thankful the light was so glowy. Every time I shoot here, the client I am meeting always gets out of their car saying, “I didn’t even know this was over here. It’s so pretty.” It is a little gem of a place that I’m super thankful the city of Knoxville maintains. If you haven’t visited the Knoxville Botanical Gardens, you should. It’s tucked away in East Knoxville and is totally worth the drive.
I was lucky enough to have gotten to take Ella’s newborn photos, too. She did just as good then as she did for this session. I also photographed Caroline and Christian’s engagement and wedding photos. Watching this family grow has been nothing but complete joy. They are so adorable and so sweet and truly make one gorgeous family. Both Caroline and Christian are in the medical field. They are both so so so smart and so kind and so humble. I’m so thankful our paths crossed a couple years ago, and they’ve continued to hire me for their sweet family portraits. My books may be closed for the year to new bookings, but I’m still open to serving my past families.
