The Studio at Fountain City Newborn
Shew. You guys. This little girl is a DOLL. Caroline and Christian drove in from Johnson City to have do a Studio at Fountain City newborn session with their sweet little Ella. If you don’t remember this couple, you can see their engagement session here and their wedding here! I absolutely ADORE this family. Caroline works in the premie unit at the hospital while Christian is finishing up his last year of med school. When I did their engagement session, I taught Christian the “nuzzle,” and we still laugh when I use that word today because in Caroline’s line of work, nuzzling means something different entirely. I can’t remember the exact definition, but I believe it was something along the lines of a premie rooting for their mother’s breast 😂 (I’m dying that I even just said the word breast on my blog). This is why I love shooting milestones for AMP couples. Because we develop these inside jokes and this bond and comfort that we otherwise wouldn’t have. Not to mention, I love this time to catch up on their life and see what has changed since their wedding!
For Caroline and Christian, the change is they added the sweetest most beautiful baby girl to their family. Her name is Ella, and she smiled at least 20 times while she was at the studio. I’m not talking a little smirk or grin. I’m talking a full blown smile. I got two of those moments caught for you below so keep an eye out.
Caroline and I have such similar taste. When we worked together for their wedding, Caroline expressed how much she loved the details and the timeless, classic, sleek look. So when they showed up for Ella’s Fountain City newborn session in the studio, they had all the neutral, pale, soft color palettes of all the little girl things. Swaddles, bows, stuffies, and even her changing pad was extra cute. I tried to keep it as neutral and timeless as possible, and I am so excited to share this adorableness with you!
