Concord Park Family
Technically, this wasn’t the entire Gilliam family because Eric (dad) was out of town for work. But we did a little Concord Park family summer session anyways, mainly of the kiddos, and ended with a couple of popsicles! We couldn’t have gotten a more appropriate setting than their cute summer clothes with the water behind them and popsicles in their hands. Also, I need to mention something really sweet that I don’t see that often between siblings. Yes, they always love each other, but typically when I have the older sibling go in for a hug or kiss or hand hold…the younger sibling usually jerks away and does NOT want to be touched. I think this mainly happens because older siblings that are still pretty young, just don’t realize how forceful they’re being. And Macy is definitely no exception. But James totally just took it and most of the time with a smile on his face. At the end of our time together I asked Carolyn how in the WORLD she got James to be so joyful every time Macy pulled his face around to kiss his cheek. Or grabbed his hand to walk him down the dock. I think James is just that chill of a little dude, and they got super duper lucky that he just doesn’t mind all the rough cuddles from his big sis. I really hope that Hazel feels the same way about Grayson’s cuddles because those two are going to be in a TON of pictures together.
So thankful for this Concord Park family session because I love this family to my core. They are not only clients but also church family and seeing their smiling faces greet us on Sunday mornings just kicks our day off in all the right ways!
