Studio & Lifestyle Newborn
Avenly Burton is here, you guys, and she is sooooooo stinking cute. This girl could literally sleep through anything. I guess that’s what happens with all children after your first one, but seriously, you should have seen her at her lifestyle newborn session. Her two big sisters jumped around, played with the dogs, cried a couple times, and she was zonked. Not only did she sleep through the noise, she also slept through the touch, too. To be really honest, it’s almost like she slept better in the chaos than she did in the peace. Anyways, I need to brag on these parents for a second. I know that Morgan and Tophor have been through this two times already, but still…dealing with a newborn is hard. Not knowing why they’re crying. Not knowing if they’ll sleep. Not knowing if they’re eating enough. It’s just hard. Even for people who aren’t doing it for the first time. Also, juggling a toddler and her big sister…they are doing it like pros. You would think that when I showed up to Avenly’s lifestyle newborn session at their house they had been doing this for years. They knew which kid responded best to which parent. They knew all the tricks to get them to cooperate. One really awesome thing that I love about Morgan is that she also knows exactly what she wants when I show up. Don’t get me wrong, there is a certain freedom in showing up to a lifestyle newborn session, and the family saying, “just do your thing,” but when they want something specific and just assume I’m going to get it without telling me, it’s super stressful for me. So, I’m beyond grateful for the line of communication that Morgan made so transparent the moment I walked in the door. I just love this family and getting to work with them during this season of their third baby girl! Enjoy this lifestyle newborn session and leave some love in the comment section when you’re done!
