Jameka & David had their wedding at Hunter Valley Farm last weekend. If you read my last post, you’ve already put two and two together that I was actually there for two weddings last weekend. These weddings were night and day different because of the weather. Hurricane Florence came through Knoxville Sunday, which caused a light drizzle off and on all day. So, we moved the ceremony inside (which I can’t wait for you to see because it definitely is not done very often at a wedding at Hunter Valley Farm), shot all of their photos under either tree or porch coverage, and broke out the clear bubble umbrellas to get some adorable umbrella shots. There’s one thing that happened at this wedding at Hunter Valley Farm that makes it SO much different than the rest. Roller skates. That’s right. The bride, her two bridesmaids, and her bridesdude all wore roller skates at the end of the reception. Oh yeah, I guess there’s something else that makes it a little different, too. Jameka had a bridesdude who was SUCH a trooper every time I said alright ladies… oh shoot, and guys :-). He never once got offended! Thank you, Randy, if you’re reading this, for bearing with me! Anyways, they are all part of roller derby, and they all brought their skates. It. was. awesome. Highlight of my night. The bride even danced their final dance in her skates. She did take them off for the exit though…that would have been super challenging!
You have to scroll to the end to get to the skates, but I think you’ll have fun getting there because this group was a blast!
