Baxter Gardens Maternity Session
Meet my big bro. This is Brad, his wife Crissy, and their two boys Keagan & Gavin. They are adding baby Harper into the mix this coming June, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I was so excited when they let me take some Baxter Gardens Maternity pictures for them this past weekend! Literally, one of the best things is getting to be an aunt. You get all the cuddles, tickles, giggles, and fun without any of the long nights, poopy diapers, or discipline. Don’t get me wrong, I do love being a mommy to baby G, but it is nice to wear the aunt hat every now and then. If you’ve been following along with my story over the last year, you know my family has been through some not-so-fun stuff. And this guy… he’s been through the ringer. I think the Lord saw this hard season in the Hensley household and decided that they needed the pure joy that comes with a newborn for some brighter, sunnier days ahead. I know that when all this went down with my dad dying, Grayson was where I found my way back to the joy every. single. time. That’s where I could connect with Jesus and feel Him holding me. I don’t think anyone on planet Earth can possibly look at a baby and not see the miracle of God. So, I am SO EXCITED for them to put it lightly. I just know this bundle of joy is going to bring such an awesome presence in a house full of boys ;-).
