This little girl was born to love fresh florals. In case you didn’t know, she’s the daughter of the AMAZING Lesley Britt with LB Floral. I thought it was only fitting to include all my house plants in the first set of her 6 month studio pictures! When I say all my house plants, I literally mean, this is every single plant we have in our house. And I love them… all the air purification and cuteness… but I can NOT keep them alive. You guys, I am the worlds worst plant-keeper-aliver. Throughout our relationship, my husband has gotten me two orchids, a bowl of succulents, and a cactus. I’ve killed every. single. one. of. them. So in our house, it’s his job to keep them alive and my job to make sure Grayson isn’t throwing potting soil all over our house. HA. You laugh, but this is so not funny. See the crazy palm tree looking thingy in the right hand side of the picture? That use to sit in our living room behind the couch. I was doing dishes one day while Grayson played. You have to know that when if I try to do dishes while he’s awake, he makes it SO hard because he loves pulling all the dishes back out of the dish washer faster than I can put them in. So I typically rinse all the dishes off and set them on a towel, then open the dish washer at the end and load them all as quickly as I can. No matter where he’s at in the room, when he hears the dishwasher open, he drops whatever he is doing and runs immediately to it. So I try to carefully pull it open and start loading dishes. He doesn’t come running. I think, Oh YAY! I’m going to load the dish washer in peace this time! When I finally get done and walk to find him, he has pulled hand fulls of potting soil from that tree’s pot and strewn it all OVER the floor behind the couch. There was nothing I could do but laugh. That kid.
