Cumberland Falls Engagement

I attended a tiny little college in Williamsburg, KY. It was 30 minute away from this gem they call Cumberland Falls. I went a couple times while I was in school but could not grasp how incredible it was until I moved away… of course. It’s funny how that happens isn’t it? We live somewhere and don’t take advantage of everything it offers and then we move and realize how we took it all for granted. I actually didn’t really appreciate it until I went back and photographed Haley and PJ’s cumberland falls engagement session and ever since that I’ve been longing to go back. I LOVE this place and it photographs so so so beautifully. Especially in the morning with the low hanging fog… insert all the heart eyes right here.

Kaera and Adam

I am SO stoked for this couple’s wedding. They are making every single piece of the whole wedding process totally awesome. First they chose to do a Cumberland Falls engagement session and Kaera buys this AMAZING skirt to wear that matches with the evergreen gorgeously, then we find this vintage pharmacy is downtown Williamsburg that also matches the colors they’re wearing flawlessly (which is so appropriate since they’re both in the medical industry and Kaera is in pharmacy school) and then they are getting married at this super cool venue in downtown Charleston, SC and well, there’s pretty much nothing more awesome than that!!! As a wedding photographer, it’s good to attract ideal clients that have similar style and taste as yourself (for a bajillion reasons that I should write about it another time), and usually it’s hard to get 100% the same style and taste because we are all so different… but me and Kaera… we are about as close to the same style as they come. I cannot wait until October.
