Engagement Session at The Standard
More and more often, I’m getting couples who have met online, Max and Elise being one of them. I think slowly but surely we are squashing the stigma that comes with online dating. I hope that this post helps in this squashing because, I personally think, with some caution, that it’s an amazing way for singles to meet other singles! So I had Max and Elise to my home for our first meeting. I was asking them all about the proposal and the wedding planning and guys, they were literally finishing each other’s sentences. Being all giggly and cute and adorable. When I asked them how they met, I was sure they were going to tell me they were high school sweethearts. They said “we met online… 6 months ago”. My jaw was on the floor. No WAY! After the initial shock wore off I was SO excited because I was going to get to share yet ANOTHER successful online dating story. There are so many single ladies out there that don’t have a lot of opportunities to meet other single fellas with similar interests. They’re terrified to do the online dating scene because of it’s stigma and newness and well, it’s a little scary interacting with someone behind a screen… but it can be SUCH a great tool and is can obviously be beautifully successful because lemme tell ya how meant for each other these two are. I think the joy they have when they are around each other is the giveaway. They have so much happiness it’s contagious through their engagement session at The Standard images. As I was editing them I felt myself just feeling happy deep down in my soul. This engagement session at The Standard is a current favorite.
