Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm Wedding

There are wedding venues in Knoxville that are GORGEOUS but have terrible staff. There are also venues that have AMAZING staff but are not so cute. Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm Wedding s get the best of both worlds because they are both absolutely stunning and have amazing staff. Not to mention they’re almost an all inclusive package. So for brides like Jessie, who are planning a wedding from another state, Hunter Valley is more than perfect. The owner, Nancy Barger, is the owner of the Pavilion and Swank Floral. Her husband runs the beer trucks and she has a few other side hustles that she operates outside of weddings. The pavilion comes with coordination, setup, tear down, tables and seating, linens, and a bunch of other decor. So when brides choose to have a Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm Wedding, after they hire Nancy, they only have a couple other vendors they have to decide on. Nancy and her team have planning meetings with brides as well to discuss style, colors, flowers, etc. Every single wedding I’ve shot there, they have more than perfectly exceeded the bride’s expectations. Nancy and her right hand lady, Brittany, are so very good at interpreting each individual bride’s style and bringing it to life. I can’t recommend this venue more. I could shoot a Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm Wedding every weekend and not be one bit mad about it.

Jessie and Cameron

Since Jessie and Cameron live in another state, they decided to do airbnb’s for their stay in Knoxville. They got two. One in Old North for the guys and one in west Knoxville for the girls. It was super super super cool to get to see the inside of an Old North home that was restored. It was GORGEOUS you guys. Like woah… everything about it. It was the prettiest until I left there and got to Hunter Valley and I was blown away. Jessie and Cameron told Nancy and Brittany we want lots and lots of greenery, copper as our color and the rest is up to you guys. Giving two creative people the freedom to design something from scratch was one of the best decisions Jessie and Cameron made for their day because Nancy and Brittany KILLED it! One of my favorite details was definitely in the flowers. To incorporate the copper color, Nancy used the backs of magnolia leaves in the floral arrangements. Who thinks to use the back side of anything??!! Nancy. That’s who. Because she’s amazing. So innovative and is constantly thinking outside of the box.

One of my favorite parts of the day was when Jessie read her letter from Cameron. It was after bridal party pictures were done and we were all tucked away waiting on the ceremony to get here. Jessie read it to herself and then read it out loud for us all to hear. As she was reading it, she teared up and cracked up and it was possibly the most perfect letter that any groom has ever written to any bride. There was just the right amount of love and sweetness, a dash of sexy, a couple minor curse words that added to the sexy, and the perfect couple inside jokes that had everyone rolling. I think every bride should keep her letter to look back on to reminisce her wedding day, but Jessie can look back at hers also for some writing inspiration because it was just so. good.
