It seems like yesterday I was headed over to this family’s house to document their newborn. Flower crown in hand, car jam packed of all my newborn equipment, and my sweat clothes on. Click here if you want to see this precious baby 1 year ago! I got to see her again for her 6 month pictures last fall at the Fruit and Berry Patch. She was JUST starting to sit up and was so stinking adorable. Click here if you want to see the little pumpkin 6 months ago! Now she’s turning one… and about to be a big sister! Both of these girls don’t know how good they have it. Their mom and dad are such incredible people and are surrounded by an incredible family. I was able to meet all of Devan’s side of the family when I photographed his sister’s wedding a couple years ago. Every single one of them are so sweet and love this baby so well. It makes me so happy to have gotten to document this family’s past year. Their genuineness and authenticity is one of my favorite things about them. And their humor. Which I think I mention in every blog post I write about them. They’re just so funny – they keep me laughing the whole time.

So I’m raising my virtual glass and saying cheers to amazing clients that feel more like friends. Especially when they’ll text you and talk about all the gross details of birth and being a mom. I’m one blessed photographer.
