Jackson Terminal || Knoxville Wedding Venue || Molly + Luke

This wedding at Jackson Terminal was SO gorgeous! This was the first wedding at Jackson Terminal that I have gotten to shoot and I have to say, it is definitely ranking in my top 5 favorite wedding venues in Knoxville. If you’re looking for a space to have an indoor ceremony, it’s beyond perfect. The ceremony site is flooded with natural light from gigantic windows, has gorgeous painted brick as the back drop and, for this particular wedding, was divided off from the ceremony with beautiful flowy curtains. But even more awesome than the indoor ceremony site is the location. From this one venue, there are tons of different backdrops to have your photos taken. There is exposed brick, cobblestone road, train tracks, city sidewalks, industrial backdrops, underground Knoxville, neutrally painted walls, and still more past that. They are all so close to one another, you don’t lose any time traveling from one to the other. I could just go on and on and on about this venue. But rather, let’s skip to my favorite story from the wedding day!

Other than the groom’s beautiful reaction to seeing his bride for the first time, I think my most favorite part about this wedding was definitely the dance floor. The bridal party and guests were full of musicians and people who could seriously bust a move. For the entire reception there was always people dancing it up. Molly, the bride, was not AS into dancing as the Luke, but at one point, he had her out on the dance floor with him. With everyone dancing all crazy around them, Molly leaned forward and whispered in Luke’s ear. There is a picture you’ll see below of this exact moment. I’m not sure what she said to him in that brief minute, for all I know it could have been something random about aunt Sally, but in that image, the connection between them looks so magical and so pure. Afterward he grabbed her and hugged her in for a tight squeeze; her arms up around his neck (which you’ll also see photographed below). It was just love in that moment. all love.
