Neyland Stadium Engagement || University of Tennessee || Leslie + Griffin

When couples love University of Tennessee as much as these two do, I know that it’s an obvious decision to take them to Neyland Stadium for their engagement pictures! Everything about Leslie and Griffin bleeds orange. When I asked them what they wanted their second location to be, they asked if it could be around campus. Of course I loved the idea of photographing them in front of areas on campus that meant a lot to them. They got back the list of spots and there were SO many! I was sad that we didn’t have time to do ALL of them… but getting their favorite hang out spot, Cool Beans, and his frat house were two very necessary locations that we couldn’t pass up. This couple totally took advantage of making their engagement pictures completely unique. I really admire a couple that is willing to step out of society’s norm to do something a little different and riskier.

I think my most favorite part about photographing Leslie and Griffin is when he made her laugh. Griffin has an amazing and unique sense of humor. I saw it from the time that they stepped into my living room for our first official welcome meeting. The entire time he was making little jokes here and there and Leslie would usually give him this look of please don’t embarrass us in front of this girl we are meeting for the first time followed by an okay, that was hilarious I can’t hold my laughter in anymore kind of giggle. Fast forward to the engagement session and the only thing that changed was there was no pause between the comments Griffin made and the laughter that Leslie couldn’t contain. It was adorable and made for some amazingly cute engagement pictures!
